Has Myra Hindley, the Child Murderer, Given us a Challenge?

Every life, every death is a challenge, not only to the individuals and the individual spirits but also to those around them. When a spirit enters a physical body at the moment of conception it brings with it the sum total of all that it has ever been. It chooses the body that it enters, attracted by the energy of the parents, and it chooses that body because that life can offer it the type of energetic challenge it needs.

Sometimes when a spirit enters a body at the moment of conception, the moment of fertilisation of the seed, it can face competition because there may be more than one spirit wanting to enter that body. This was the case with Myra Hindley's spirit. So when her spirit entered the fertilised seed, there was another energy around her that was angry and disturbed because it had been unable to reach into the next phase of its evolution in the way that it had wished. This other energy or spirit did not take its inability to get into that body lightly. In fact, when I look at the amount of anger that that other spirit held, it would have been even more catastrophic had it entered the body instead of the one that did.

So right from the beginning there was an energy around this woman that was angry and disturbed, wanting to destroy. It energetically played on her anger, her frustration and the life that she led as a child, so that by the time she reached adulthood she was not only carrying her own anger and frustration, her own feelings of rejection and abuse but she was also carrying the abuse energy from that other spirit around her, a spirit that worked on her shadow, concentrating on her solar plexus, the seat of her emotions; it wanted to destroy her and anyone around her. So when she actually reached a point where she had a relationship with this man, there was such a pent-up energy within her that it is quite surprising that she did not kill him.

The interesting thing about this case is that once Myra Hindley was tried and convicted, the other spirit that had been plaguing her all the way through, lost interest because it felt that it had achieved what it had set out to do. It had virtually destroyed her life and energetically inspired her to do some of the terrible things that she did to those children.

I am telling you this detail because it is important that people on your planet begin to understand some of the reasons why people do things. Here was somebody who desperately needed spiritual help and in her time in that prison cell she began to really see and understand what she had done; and this is why she wanted to repent. But instead of being supported and helped psychologically, spiritually and emotionally, she was condemned by the media and by the parents of the murdered children. So when you look at it in that way it is not too difficult to see why she didn't tell the authorities where some of the bodies were. How would you feel if you were in her situation?

Now I am not condoning what she did and I understand that if someone commits crimes like this on your planet, they have to be kept away from the public. But the help that was needed was not only for her but also for the parents. Where was the spiritual advice that would have enabled them to reach a point of forgiveness? If anyone needed counselling and spiritual help, it was the parents of those murdered children, even more than Myra Hindley.

So one of the challenges I am raising tonight is your media itself because it exploits people like Myra Hindley; and it exploits the parents of the children, encouraging them to be angry, encouraging them to want revenge and retribution. This is the challenge that I see she has created. And whilst on one level it may not have attracted world wide coverage, it has awoken in a number of people the need to understand that when a person commits a crime such as this, there has to be some very good reason that has caused it in the first place.

It is only in recent years that people have started to become more aware of parental abuse, and general abuse on young children - for the abuse may not only be sexual, it could be physical, emotional and mental. So the challenge is for people to ask themselves, do I respect those around me? Do I respect myself? Do I respect my children? Do I respect my parents? Do I understand why those around me behave in the way that they do?

Understanding could do more to relieve your prison system than anything else, ironically. It raises the issue of that old edict - an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. As we enter the Age of Aquarius we are moving beyond that type of behaviour and understanding because all it can do is create situations like you have in Northern Ireland, in Iraq, in Israel and America. In my opinion, it is really important that justice systems move beyond the concept of revenge and retribution. I accept that if a person is in a mental state and violent, they need to be restrained; but they also need help if they are prepared to receive it. Sadly, in most cases they are not even given the chance to find out.

I find it sad when I hear world leaders say, "They must be punished!" Punishment is the scourge of society, it is what creates your wars, death and destruction, because all it does is to create an angry, vicious spirit that is just longing to get back into incarnation to destroy, to have its own back for the abuse that it feels it has received. No one has listened to it, no one has heard it, no one has tried to understand it; all they have wanted to do is to punish it. I appreciate that forgiveness is not easy; it is an emotion that cannot even be reached until a person has faced their shadow and their anger.

It is going to be very interesting to see what emerges this year because we have just come out of a period in which everyone was been made to face their shadow and suddenly, as we go into 2003, the scales are going to tip and people are going to be thrown into facing the light. Now that may sound very good but let me present the other side of the picture.

As you are aware, light and shadow are the two opposite aspects of your persona and to find the real peace, the point where miracles occur, one has to bring the shadow and the light together within. Oh dear, so often I have said that when one is looking at one's emotions, one's aspirations and hopes, there is no such thing as right or wrong in the decisions that you make, there is no such thing as success or failure in what you achieve, there is only what you are; and what you are is the sum total of all that you have been.

So it is also about dealing with, I think you call it 'tradition'. As we go into the Age of Aquarius it is important to move beyond the shackles of tradition, to let go of the past, to learn from it, not to live in it. This applies to religions, political systems and all forms of society, to families and to any group of people. Do not be trapped by your own past; learn from it, do not live in it. It is very much about releasing, letting go and finding that liberty within and without; and as the pendulum swings from the shadow into the light we still have to find that point of balance within. One of the dangers of being thrown into the light is that it will encourage those who have extreme views on what are good and evil to become even more extreme; and in becoming even more extreme they will isolate themselves from humanity as a whole. They need a lot of love, a lot of forgiveness and they need a lot of understanding.

So it is not just about Myra Hindley, it is about what she presents and represents in society. She was not able to face her shadow until it was too late; and the sad thing was that she was not given the chance to face it and move beyond it. That was a sad day for British justice and an even sadder day for your media - where vindictive comments were made in such a public way. When a person makes retributive comments, they need to remember that they can rebound on them. As you sow, so shall you reap.

The two great energy forces on this planet are love and fear and most feelings and decisions stem from those two polarities: one which allows you to go forward and open out and the other which restricts you and holds you back; one which opens, one which closes. It is as simple as that.

So dear friends, that is what I wanted to say to you tonight about Myra Hindley, also about the shadow and light on your planet and what its portents are. This coming year could be a year of great change and great happenings but the future is not fixed, it is not predetermined or predestined; it is the sum total of the individual choices of every spirit evolving on the planet - homo sapiens, the animals, the minerals, the vegetable and so on. All I can tell you is what the possibilities are. If the majority of spirits on this planet want unconditional love, peace, moving beyond judgement, moving beyond revenge, retribution and manipulation, it is your collective choice, dear friends. I am only here to speak about it, to awaken your hearts and your minds to the possibilities, possibilities that are huge and need to be divorced from politics, economics, corporate business, greed and fear. Fear is the big one, isn't it? People want power because they are afraid.

I wanted to leave you with those thoughts, with those ideas. I would also like to put out a thought of love and forgiveness to the spirit that was in the body of the lady named Myra Hindley, and I would like that spirit to know that what it did in facing itself has not gone unnoticed. Let us send her unconditional love and forgiveness and allow her spirit to move on into its next lifetime, not caught up by the remorse and repentance of this life, but in a new energy of unconditional love; her spirit is capable of it because of what it went through in this lifetime. And then when it reincarnates it will be very aware of wanting to help its fellow beings and not be caught in the same sort of situation as before.

So you see when a spirit wants to choose two parents and it realises that the moment has come, it is not a question of a race to get in there, it is a moment of love, it is about feeling yourself drawn into it in love and understanding. And if your love and understanding is strong, that in itself will provide a strength and energy that will deny another spirit from breaking through and pushing you out of the way. So to Myra Hindley's spirit, I offer unconditional love and forgiveness from the highest possible source. I also offer love and understanding to the spirit that plagued her in the first part of her life - I am not sure that it is quite ready to hear what I am saying or if it is ready to move beyond its own anger, although the reason it left Myra Hindley was partly because it felt it had achieved. Now it has to go through the experience of repentance.

When one talks about retribution and repentance there is one thing I do want to emphasise and it is really important for you all to understand this - God does not judge, it is only humankind that judges. If you feel you have done something in your life or maybe in a past life for which you feel ashamed and sad, you do not need to beat yourself up, you do not need to punish yourself, for self-punishment can be even worse than corporate punishment. Simply say to yourself:

"I am glad that I can now see what I did and understand it, because I do not need to do it ever again. I can lift myself above the need to be in that space. I acknowledge the unconditional love of the Godhead, I acknowledge that I no longer need to punish myself. So I am moving beyond that need for punishment into a new energetic level of love, forgiveness and understanding."

Feel the energy now…isn't it beautiful? It is an energy of love, of understanding. It is a gentle energy, a peaceful energy.

Whatever the situation, there can always be a peaceful solution, but it may have to be worked for and found; and it will not be easy for those who do not wish it. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them now.

H-A, how can we portray unconditional love and understanding to the people in power who make decisions on justice and punishment?

Every single spirit in a human body gives off an energy which reaches out, not only to every other spirit on the planet, but out into the cosmos. Remember you are a creation of God therefore you are part of God, so you need to find that God part within you. If you step out into the street with a feeling of unconditional love, of forgiveness and understanding, that energy is going to spread out. And the more people who think in this way, the more that energy will increase in a most incredible way. Your planet is not very used to that energy, you see, it is used to the energy of crime and punishment. So the fact that you can feel like that will touch people around you, your friends, your neighbours, the people that you work with, they will begin to see and sense and feel a new 'you'. And that will spread throughout the planet. But it has to start with somebody, someone has to start it.

Each one of you in this room is on a path of evolution. If your spirit had reached the God level, you would not need to be incarnate. Remember the level of God is about total unison between light and shadow; it is where light and shadow has found perfect balance. That is God. If God creates spirit with choice and freewill, then that spirit has to choose between light and shadow throughout the whole of its evolutionary experience. So I consider that people like yourselves can make a very tangible effect. I understand that it may not be as powerful as if you were to meet your leaders and manage to persuade them verbally. But it doesn't have to be verbal, it can be energetic. The greater the number of people who can give out unconditional love and understanding, the more you can affect the future of planet Earth.

There are many people actually doing this now. This is why already in your country there are many people saying, We don't want war! And that is how it can work. Remember how the people in your country rejected GM foods. Think about how the Berlin wall came down without a shot being fired. These kinds of miracles can happen. As I said earlier, the future of your planet is not predetermined. It is never too late to add to that wealth of unconditional love and moving beyond judgement; it can bring down another Berlin wall. I realise that the news looks very bleak at the moment and that is even more reason why those who want to give out unconditional love do so - as strongly as possible.

H-A, this is picking up on some of the things you were talking about, the violence towards oneself, turned inward. My sister who is fifteen is harming herself currently, I have tried to speak with her and I just wondered if she has a guide with her at this time and whether she can, through understanding herself, come to a place of peace?

Think of Myra Hindley, because she is the archetype.

She is the archetype of someone who self-harms? OK I understand now. I think my sister is afraid of how she is viewed by others and she turns the extremity of the way people view her on herself. That makes sense.

She needs a lot of love; she needs help to understand why she is in that situation. She cannot be helped by people who think they know the answer for her. She needs help to find levels of self-empowerment, to be able to face and deal with her own situation. I think there have been people around her who, well intentioned, have tried to tell her what she ought or should be doing and that is only creating deeper levels of resentment. So she needs help to come forward and see for herself where she is, how she is and what she is.

Everyone is in that category, some have the strength and the will to do that, others do not. On one level the most you can do for someone in that situation is to be there as a support, to hear them so that they feel they are not being rejected. But you can't make them be what they are not or make them move beyond a point which at this moment in time they are not prepared to make.

You see, there are all kinds of people, ordinary people, those who are archetypal criminals. But it all comes back to the same basic things, feeling fear, rejection, worry about what other people think of you, the need to please others when basically the only person you can please is yourself. Do not misunderstand me when I say that the only person on this planet that any one of you can change is yourself. I cannot emphasise strongly enough that each one of you is powerful enough to change yourself, if it is your will. And life is about change, is it not? Life is not about being stuck in one situation, it is stuckness that draws negative energy; and when we are angry with somebody and we hate them we are empowering them to harm us.
