What Happens When We Die?

H-A through Tony Neate and David Furlong

H-A through Tony

When we are ready to incarnate, our spirit sends out a certain harmonic, an energy, and somewhere on your planet there will be two people coming together who will reflect that energy.  Remember, when you decide to reincarnate you choose your parents, not for what they are but for the challenges they are going to offer you; because at any one moment on your evolutionary journey, you are what you are - the sum total of everything that you have ever been, experienced, felt, touched and understood, in all your previous existence.  So you come into a body at the moment of conception, the moment of fertilisation of the seed, with all that prior experience and at that moment in your evolution.

Now on one level, in the same way that your spirit has chosen to come into life, it is also its choice as to when it leaves your body at death.  But it is not quite as simple as that because when you came into your physical body you brought all your spiritual karma - everything that your spirit had experienced in and out of incarnations and all pre-human existence.  But you also had to face and deal with the physical genetic inheritance from your parents and their parents.  In other words, you have to deal with your ancestral inheritance on the physical side, as well as the spiritual/karmic inheritance of your spirit.

Indeed, one of the challenges of physical life is to integrate and maintain a balance between the spirit and the physical body when you experience emotional states, stuck states, fearful states.  For there is a very close relationship between the spirit, the soul, the mental body, the emotions, and the physical body.  For instance, when you become diseased, this is something which has come right through from the spirit; it may even go right back to past lives, it may go forward to future lives.  But whatever, it is part of you as you are.

When we come to face our death, we need to make the choice of how we die and move on.  Death is as much a transformation as when we come into the body at the moment of conception, it is a whole new experience; for it is not the death of the spirit but, rather, the rebirth of the spirit into new levels of being.  As the physical body moves through life and begins to age, certain factors come forward.  When facing the challenges in your life, have you really faced them or have you avoided them?  How do you feel about death?  Let me share something with you.  If you are fearful of death you will create a great deal of negative karma for yourself.  And it can happen at the beginning of life, you know – your spirit can be fearful of birth. That is why sometimes, when a spirit comes into incarnation, it brings with it a whole lot of negativity.  It has come in with fear, rather than with joy.

Let us for a moment consider what happens when a person is fearful of death.   They will want to continue in life on and on and on, because they are frightened of letting go, frightened of what is going to happen on the other side.   If they have been part of a very strict religious sect, they may be concerned that they are going to be punished in some way for what they have done or failed to have done.   That is always very sad because, as you know, God is a God of unconditional love. God on the highest level does not judge, does not punish.  There is no revenge or retribution, there is only unconditional love that pours forth; and it is your choice as to whether you accept or reject it. But although your spirit has 100% free will and choice, it is not always easy for it to express it.

Sometimes a spirit will choose to die early for a specific purpose, or to make a sacrifice when it dies, so as to help humankind as a whole; because when you come into life, you don’t come in as a single spirit, but as part of a group.   So there are groups of spirits coming in and out of incarnation all the time and each spirit carries its group impulse.   Indeed, sometimes when you hear of an international tragedy, a group of spirits has decided to choose a way of dying that they hope will awaken the hearts and minds of those they leave behind, so as to bring about a new, more open way of life and being.

Treat death as a joy

My advice to anybody who is wondering how to face death is to try and treat it as a joy, as an opportunity, because it is an opportunity.  When you leave your physical body, you will no longer have to experience through physical emotion; for that is part of the reason for experiencing in a physical body.   But in spirit there is not that physical experience.   You are suddenly projected into a new way of thinking and being and you carry with you all the things that you have been.   Are you part of a religious or spiritual sect that says either that you will not reincarnate or that places conditions on reincarnation?   Yet you and I know there are no conditions, there are only the conditions that you place on it.

Try and think to yourself: ‘When my physical body dies my spirit will move on into a whole expanding level of consciousness. I will leave behind those that I have loved and I will want them to know that I am happy and that I am released and that I still love them.   I would like to feel that there is a sense of grieving and loss on both sides. But then I want those that I leave behind to release me and allow me to move on. Because whatever happens in my future evolution, I will always be part of the group family that I experienced in this life or in any other one lifetime.’

Death is a transformation, it is a rebirth back into spirit, spirit existence, free of physical encumbrances. Then your spirit will want to look back at that life and say, “How did I do? How do I feel that I did?  Did I achieve what I set out to do?  What part of it do I want to carry forward?   Do I want to reincarnate straight away?  Do I want to experience other realms of existence before returning?  Maybe I have reached that level of spiritual understanding where I no longer need to return; but would like to be there as a form of guidance to help those who have not yet reached this stage of being, thinking, experience.”

So you see dear friends it is a vast subject, is it not?  Because you are talking about infinite possibilities; and the more open you can be about it, the greater your experience and the greater the realisation, the excitement, the exhilaration of suddenly becoming aware of whole new dimensions of being, with all the different flavours acquired through different lifetimes. You may have chosen an oriental form of evolution in one life, a western form of evolution in another.  And all these are somehow brought together and blended together; because at the end of the day they are all different ways of learning to express the same truth, an open truth, a truth of unconditional love. . . . . . . I think at this point I would like to say something through David, so I thank you for listening to me through Tony and I shall transfer to David.

 H-A through David

One of the dynamics that I can express perhaps a little more easily through David is to help each of you go through a form of emotional experience, a form of qualitative experience, which can help deepen what I can say through Tony.  So dear friends, what I would like us to do now is to go on a little journey, a journey which can begin to help each of you to perhaps connect a little more deeply into the amazing impulse that is part of you – and I do not use that word lightly because you are all amazing beings.

 Meditation Exercise

Just for a moment make a connection to that inner divine spark part of who and what you are. You might like to imagine this as a light within, a point of consciousness within your being, a place of peace, of knowingness, of wisdom.   Really sense and allow yourself to connect into the God part of who and what you are. . .

Let us imagine now that you are travelling back in time to a point before you first entered this present lifetime. . . What was your spirit experiencing, feeling, being aware of when it chose to make this new journey?  Can you sense the incredible feeling of love, of support, of encouragement that is around you when you are making these choices?  The feeling that you are not alone but that there will be others who will be joining you, connecting to you and working with you. . . Allow yourself to reach into your knowingness, your impulse that has brought you once more onto this planet.  What was it that you truly wished to achieve in this present life? . . .  It may be that you will just glimpse a feeling; it may be that you will have a greater sense of clarity; but I would like you all to have a really powerful sense of purpose, of direction, and a really deep belief within you that you are and can achieve all that you set out to achieve in this present life. . .

And what happens then, dear friends, when you start to merge with that tiny foetus in your mother’s womb?   Do you experience a sense of apprehension, of wariness? Can you allow the feeling of love and resolution to be so strong that it carries you forward uninhibited by the constraints of the birthing process?   Try to have the sense of that inner knowingness being there and being part of the impulse that brings you forth into this present life. . .

Now let us run this tape forward into the ‘now’, the now moment, the moment when you can be both in the now, yet connected, not only to all that you have been but also to all that you will be. . .  There is a thought for you!   Everything is held in this now moment.  Try to sense the incredible feeling of continuity, the incredible feeling of connection to your spiritual Self, to your spiritual companions, to the Life Force that has brought you into being; and do it with a sense of clarity and purpose.   Have a sense also of this energy reaching forth through the whole of your physical life until that moment when you determine that it is right and proper to make this transition back to the realms of spiritual consciousness, knowing that you may not have completed every single task, and yet you can still love and value and appreciate all the amazingly rich experiences that you have undergone. . .   Sense your passing as a moment of joy, of upliftment, of wealth, as you reconnect with those loved spirits that have been part of your evolutionary journey. . . . .

Gently but firmly return to your body in the now.

Your experiences here in the physical can be heaven on Earth, it depends on your perceptions.  You are offered something amazing when you come into a physical body, an ability to connect with life in a way that is completely unique; and you need to sense this feeling of joy, of exploration, of wonder - the energy of the child reaching out to explore the magnificence of the life that is offered.  Dear friends, you have experienced that type of life and you can experience it again in this life, fully and completely, if you allow yourself so to do.   For God limits no one. . .

And now I wish to speak again through Tony.

 H-A through Tony

So, dear friends, I want to remind you that when you shared that experience, you were actually bringing together into one energy all of your lifetimes, all of your experiences in and out of the body.  The ancestral experience is both the spirit and the physical coming together into one experience.

Death is like life, it is how you look at it, how you treat it, how you perceive it.  If you are frightened of life you may well be frightened of death.  If you are frightened of death you will certainly be frightened of what may happen when you pass over. So look at those fears, don’t run away from them because they represent that other side of you; and you have heard me say many times, you cannot see the light without the shadow.  But you cannot experience the shadow without the light and it is about finding that synchronicity when you bring them both together.

At this moment I would like to open the evening for your questions, your thoughts, whatever you want to say.  And I know there are those of you who feel very strongly about certain things in your life.  I want to say, it is not wrong to think strongly about certain things as long as you can understand why you think so strongly.  What is it coming from in your past life or lives?  There is only one state of perfection and that is the Godhead itself.

... death is like life, it is how you look at it, it is how you treat it, how you perceive it. If you are frightened of life you may well be frightened of death. If you are frightened of death you will certainly be frightened of what happens when you pass over. So look at those fears, don’t run away from them because they represent that other side of you...

What I am hoping will come out of this evening is a freshness of thinking, a fresh approach, so that you do not need to remonstrate with yourself, criticise yourself, look down on yourself.  For in my eyes you are all beautiful people and there is a beautiful spirit within each one of you trying to find its way forward.   And you can help that journey by having an open mind and being in touch with that inner part of your being.   So are there any questions?   Are there any statements?

Q: I have a question H-A. You are talking very much about the bigger picture, but what is the effect if a woman is pregnant and for whatever reason decides to terminate the baby?   Could you say something about that please?

I will speak through Tony first on this and then through David.   In my eyes, abortion is not a wrong thing.  When a spirit comes into the body it may experience all that it needs in that lifetime in a few seconds, a few minutes, a few days, a few months. Another spirit may come into a body and live for 150 years inside its physical shell and die in a frustrated state, with the spirit reaching out and saying, what did I come into this body for, I have not found/achieved what I wanted.

Now if a spirit decides that it wants to leave the body early and it may make that decision while it is still in the womb of the mother, it will communicate that on some level through the mother.   It may have chosen that very short incarnation because it is aware of the circumstances of the conception and how and why it came in.   And the kind of experience that the body offered was not what it was looking for and what it needed to help it forward.   So if there is a termination, the reason for it is what is important; it may be an emotional or mental experience, which the mother cannot carry.   So on a deep level there is actually an understanding between the two spirits.

One of the difficulties you have in physical life is, because of the culture, the tribal cultures that have existed on your planet, you are beset with the concept of right and wrong.  But on many levels there is no such thing as right and wrong, there is only what is.  And if someone on your planet does something that you disapprove of – why have they done it?  It is about understanding, helping, being.   So it is the reason for an early termination that is all-important. I would like to add to that through David.

 H-A through David

The additional thought that I would bring to this is that in most cases the spirit that is incarnating is aware of what it is incarnating into, the conditions that it is incarnating into and the likely outcome of that incarnation.   There are times when a spirit just wishes to make an energetic link to a mother, because of the spiritual dimension that connects them.  So in these cases, you can have spontaneous abortions where the spirit withdraws and there is not ever any real problem.  The spirit knows what it is doing, it knows why it is making a connection energetically for a brief period of time, perhaps a month or two, and the link with the mother is established.   That can actually help to bring a new dimension into the mother’s experience, and for the people surrounding her, as well as that which the spirit itself has come to experience.

It is very important that this is seen with as much tolerance, with as much love, with as much compassion as possible because, at another level, there will always be something of regret within a mother who terminates a life in this way; and that also needs to be understood.  But we are in a period of transition on this planet at the present time in which being fully conscious and aware of how these things can be handled in a more natural way are not so present.  Perhaps in a few lifetimes in the future, spirits will make this connection in a way that will be a very natural process.

One of the things you need to appreciate of course is that, with the wonders of modern science, sometimes these processes are interfered with.   A soul may decide it wishes to leave incarnation and then finds its desires thwarted by the doctors and nurses rushing around with hi-tech equipment to keep it back.  And exactly the same process happens at the other end because at times in the past it was easier for a soul who just wished to make a very brief connection with the physical body, to do so. Science and medicine have moved on and now a lot of intervention is brought to bear to retain the foetus.

Sometimes a way around this is for a contract between the incarnating spirit and the mother that this is just going to be a brief experience. . . Is that helpful?  Is there anything you would like to add to this or to come back on in relation to this?

Q:  No, I understand.  But from the people I have spoken to there always seem to be very practical reasons.  Clearly the experience needs to be understood on other levels.

It does, yes. There are certainly times when a spirit will incarnate wanting the mother to go through the experience of not terminating the pregnancy, yet knowing that this might happen.  Do you understand what I am saying?   All the time we need to see that these are varied experiences of choice, and what you gain from the physical body is experience.  Spirits want and need to go through certain types of experience. The experience of deciding what do I do?   What would be the experience if I decide to go one way as opposed to another way?   These choices are with you all the time; these choices shape the way in which the pattern of your life goes forth.  As I have said to you many times, your lives are not predetermined, predestined.  You have an impulse, which brought you into a physical body to go down a certain route and in that impulse is an enormous variant – some more restrictive than others; but in each key moment in your life your soul or spirit could go one way or the other.

All of this needs to be understood in the ‘contract’ that is going on between the incarnating spirit and the spirit within the mother.   For at that higher level of consciousness, the higher-self part of the mother and the spirit of the unborn child are in communication, at least in the majority of cases that is so.   But as in all things, there are exceptions.

Q: H-A, there is a friend of mine who was very much in love with the father of the child she was going to have.  She had an abortion, although she didn’t want to do that at all.  He didn’t insist upon it himself but she did it, for whatever reason.  This basically changed her life because she felt she had had enough of the kind of sexual activity she had been engaged in and felt she was paying a penalty for that.  From that point on she started to go on a very much more spiritual path and a sexual denial path.   I have wondered while you were talking if this could have been an agreement between the spirit of the child coming in and the spirit of the mother, so that she would actually make that decision and make that change of direction; and the spirit of the baby-to-be would have completed whatever for its own sake, and maybe a contract it had with the mother.  It’s a nice thought – well not a nice thought, it was very painful, but certainly an interesting one.

From my perspective I would concur with what you are saying.  The only thought I would add is that the mother could be more loving and tolerant towards herself.

Q: Well, I am going to be carrying this message to her, but I think it is still a hurt.

Indeed, indeed.  But it is better to embrace one’s hurts, love one’s hurts, acknowledge that this is an aspect of being in a physical body and be able to say, ‘I still need to be loving and gentle on myself.  Why do I need to punish myself?  Can I not begin to accept that perhaps the change was necessary?  That this has helped me to wake up in some way; and in waking up I can still be open and loving and compassionate to me as an individual and acknowledge all the parts of who and what I am.’  Because the danger in this particular type of circumstance is that she goes from one extreme to the other, and this is not an ideal state.  The ideal state is to find a balance, a loving centred balance, so that she can step forth with joy, fulfilment, excitement, openness – all that life has to bring.   And a knowingness that there is always love, support and help for you, whatever you are doing.  God does not step back and say, ‘I am abandoning you’; you do it yourself.

 H-A through Tony

I would like to add through this sensitive that, as I see it, that particular experience was one of the major challenges that this lady faced in this lifetime.  And it is important for her to know that the spirit that was in that body is OK, it is fine, but it is being held back by her grief.   It would like her to know that there is no forgiveness necessary, it achieved what it needed to achieve in this incarnation and it is really ready to move on.   So it would like to have a contract with her that she will allow that to happen; and that they can both embrace on a spiritual level knowing that there is no angst, nothing to forgive, nothing to be guilty about.   It experienced what it needed to experience and it is sending her a great deal of love and compassion.  It is wanting to say to her, ‘Please allow me to move on, and thank you for allowing me to experience through you.  Bless you.’

Q: Thank you H-A, I will pass this on.

Q: May I ask a question please?  These days doctors and scientists are cloning animals and no doubt science will one day clone a human being.   What happens to a spirit who is cloned?

There are two ways of looking at this, if you were to clone a human being genetically there would be a spirit that would come into it, otherwise it would not live, it would not exist – you understand?   But it would be a spirit that had been drawn to it because it was something unnatural, in other words the birth would come about unnaturally from a spiritual/universal point of view.    It would draw a spirit that was looking for something unnatural, a spirit that would have, perhaps, a lot of issues to deal with.   So it would not be an easy experience and life for the spirit or the physical body.

I would like to add and extend my answer, not only to genetically modified human beings, but also to genetically modified foods.  When you start to create things from an unnatural source or base, it will draw energy to it that wants to experience in an unnatural way.

Already on your planet you have a great deal of imbalance – this is why the planet has drawn energies like my own and many others, who have come here to try to restore balance to your planet.   Everything is a polarity and if you start pushing these polarities too far in too many directions, you are going to create more anger, more revenge and more tragedy.  Does that answer your question?

 Q: Yes, thank you H-A.

  H-A through Tony

Are there any more questions?   Then may I thank you through this sensitive for allowing me to share with you.   I give you my love, I give you my blessings; I give you my encouragement and energy to stimulate your energy to go forward in this lifetime into a universe of new experience.   So through this sensitive I say, ‘Goodnight.’

 H-A through David

And there is not much more I would like to add through David, except for you to remember the divine place from which you all come, that God impulse that lies within each of you, within everything.   Let us connect with it, feel it, experience it, allow it to be as a flame of energy, of direction, of love, of compassion and openness, to take you through this life and all your experiences in other dimensions that lie within this universe.  Goodnight my friends.

  Thank you.

 Goodnight, H-A.
