I found myself feeling part of his journey, but at the same time, becoming more aware of my own. He emphasises the urgent need for us to become conscious of our planet and its energies, and to begin to respect them. If we abuse the planet, we eventually abuse ourselves, he tells us. He shows how the planet responds to what happens on it and to parts of it that have witnessed abuse (e.g. like Belsen), how they need help and healing to once again bring balance, harmony and unconditional love. Even sacred sites like Stonehenge can draw all kinds of energies from those who visit them. As we become more aware of these subtle energies, we need to find ways of protecting ourselves, otherwise we can be drawn into possible negativity. David offers us simple and effective ways of achieving this. Sacred sites derive their energy either from nature or from the energies of people who use or create them, and probably from both. I particularly enjoyed his chapter on plants and trees and how their energy can influence our lives on a profound level. He describes how to send out healing, using the energies of sacred sites. There is an interesting chapter on spirit presences and exorcism, dealing with trapped spirits - even the curse of Tutankhamun, which David, together with a small group of healers, claims to have released. This is an important chapter for those interested in spirit release. The author shows us how to deal with Earth traumas, destructive Earth patterns such as earthquakes, etc in a safe way. He goes on to cover geopathic stress and electromagnetic pollution, finally bringing us back to the important time in the evolution of the planet that faces us at present and how we can best heal the planet by healing ourselves. I recommend this book, not only to those involved in this subject and especially in spirit release, but to all who are trying to help Gaia forward in harmony, in this transition from the age of Pisces into the age of Aquarius.
